On fire

Since I am a TV freak, something very funny I heard yesterday on my favorite TV station OTV :P
The TV show called Dan Diaconescu Direct is based on debates about crimes, murders, thieves, strange deaths etc... There are some bright man there, twisting and re-twisting the facts, witnesses, colleagues, acquaintances of the deceased poor people. If the man committed suicide for example, in this tv show there is no chance that could happened. always a murder. a bad one.
ok, let's skip this part. You have to watch it to understand. If you can hang in there, of course.
So, yesterday on this show, a prosecutor responsible for one murder case called.
What she said made me laugh.
Let me shorten the story for you.
A crime in a small town near Bucharest. Woman killed. 2 children left. One house. The woman was once married, 15 years ago, divorced, another bad relationship for some years and before she died she was single, raising her 2 kids.

The crime: she was strangulated and then her room in a small apartment was set on fire.
Suspects: her 2 love affairs, ex-husband and ex-boyfriend.
The time of the murder: around 10-30 PM.

And now what intrigued me as the prosecutor said.
The house was on fire around 10-50. The FIREMEN arrived on scene around 11-30 PM.

WHY SO LATE, taking into consideration that the firemen house is situated exactly near her place? 20-50 meters from the apartment on fire!!!!!

BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO CALL FIRST 112 AND THEN THE FIREMAN CAN RESPOND TO A FIRE!!!!!!
Where in the earth can you see this? To live near the fireman station and not to be able to interfere because you didn't called 112???
The women could have been alive...... NO comment.
